With input from thousands of Kansans, Grain Belt Express Clean Line selected a 370-mile proposed route for the transmission line in Kansas. On November 7, 2013, the Kansas Corporation Commission (KCC) unanimously approved the proposed route with slight modifications and granted Grain Belt Express Clean Line the authority to construct the line in Kansas, along the route depicted below.
