The Grain Belt Express Clean Line transmission project will originate near Dodge City, Kansas and deliver power to Missouri, Illinois, and surrounding states. The project will interconnect with the existing transmission system through a delivery station near Center, Missouri and a second delivery station in Clark County Illinois that interconnects to the grid in Sullivan, Indiana, which is along the Illinois-Indiana border.
Clean Line is working state by state to determine the route for the Grain Belt Express Clean Line with input from landowners, community members, state and federal agencies, and other stakeholders interested in the routing of the project.
